What do event planners pay?
Browsing venues, vendors, and sending inquiries is free. Event totals show partner pricing and any applicable service or payment fees before checkout.
What are the fees for venues and vendors?
Hoost charges a percentage-based service fee only on successful accepted-quote transactions. No monthly subscriptions or listing fees. You only pay when a quote converts. Your first 3 paid bookings on Hoost from today are free of Hoost's fee (0%). After that, Hoost takes 8% per booking, only when you get paid. Customers pay payment processing on top of your price; it is shown to them before they pay.
When do venues and vendors get paid?
Eligible payouts are released after the event once Stripe Connect onboarding and launch policy requirements are satisfied. Timing depends on the connected account and payout method.
Can I cancel or modify a quote or paid event?
Yes. Cancellation and modification policies are set by each venue or vendor. You'll see the specific terms before accepting a quote or entering checkout.
How does Hoost verify partners?
Partners are asked to complete identity, compliance, and payment setup checks where applicable before launch availability is expanded.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards, with additional payment methods available when supported for larger accepted quotes. Payment details are processed through secure provider infrastructure.
